Hello Everyone

I am VERY pleased that we will see the majority of our clan at this forthcoming event.

I will use this thread to detail all the important and relevant information for all things concerning travel, accommodation, eating, playing and a general guideline for how the event works, what we do, what you need etc. . . .

At present, it is my understanding that the following Clan Members will be attending:-

Bringing Your Own Computer (BYOC)

kba
Atticus
Spraduke
Woodz
Hammerstein
Bluenose
Kami

Spectators (Players wanting to use the above players PC's)

United Kingdom Dcode - travelling from Sheffield
Glatteveier - travelling from Oslo, Norway
Finland Siitosori - travelling from Helsinki, Finland
Mistkafer - travelling from Berlin, Germany

I understand that United Kingdom CatMangler is unable to make this event, but would like to hear from the players below if there is any chance that they might also be able to visit:-

Germany Grinch - Hamburg, Germany
Netherlands Heat - Holland
Rolex - Mansfield (?)
United Kingdom mjw - Rotherham (Back of Wickersley Comp.)
Finland Viktor - Finland

I will update this thread regularly and will keep the posts to a minimum to ensure that it is all in one easy thread.

More news later.

I would arrive at 16:35 at Stansted and my flight back would be at 12:30 from the same airport. I'd like to know if this would be ok or if I should take another flight.

Multiplay are always keen to support the best new games coming into the competative market.
Because of this, we are now pleased to announce Europe’s first Bad Company 2 LAN tournament will be held at our very own i-Series event, i39!

Taking the format of a 4v4 Squad Rush competition, we’ve currently not got a secured prize fund for this tournament, but we’re seeking sponsorship from other sources and we’re confident we’ll have some awesome prizes ready to award.

Sign ups will be opening later this week, so stay tuned for more information

A reminder to all (especially the newbies).

Print of your e-ticket (fast pass) by visiting this LINK

This will help you check in quicker at the event and also contains a list of things not to forget!!!

My own list which are essentials but easy to forget
Wallet (Dredge forgot his once so had to drive straight back doh!)
Power cables and 4 way (no cheap shit or you will trip the mains)
Mouse Mat
Windows, drivers and Game Cds incase of pc meltdown
Phone Charger
Multi tool (screwdriver) in case of pc meltdown (This has happened to several members on more than one occasion so a must have)

Ensure all games, windows, antivirus etc are up to date as there is limited bandwidth at the event (not a good time to go downloading 5 gb of games).

For steam if you set your content server to IRELAND before leaving for the event you will automaticaly conenct to MPUK's local content server which means that some popular games will come down super fast.

That is all

See you all Thursday/Friday
